The new DSLR from Olympus.
This DSLR sports a 10MP NMOS sensor and a sensor based Image Stabilization. This means that your ordinary non IS lens will benefit from having 3-5 stops of stabilization. What separates this from other makes of DLSR is it's capability to project the image to the LCD screen, much like a Point and Shoot camera. Why put this in a DSLR? you may ask. Simply because it's hard to get to the extreme angles using the Optical Viewfinder only.
I have been using this DSLR for a couple of months and based on my experience, I say olympus did a good job with this one. The highlight detail tends to blowout (like most digital cameras do), but the shadow has a bit more dynamic range compared to the older E-300 model.

What is a bit frustrating though is how well (or not well) the LCD plays back the image. It's quite hard to nail your white balance setting especially in tricky lighting conditions.
It is also worth mentioning that there is no OEM battery grip for this one, there is however a third party battery grip that is available.
I like how they maintained the strong points in their DSLR range. Color rendition is still up to specs and handling and ergonomics are improved. Of course, the anti-dust technology is still there which drew me into the brand in the first place.
